Advanced Diploma in Complex Trauma

This is a 60-hour integrative and experiential training where we will deep-dive into the world of complex trauma. Complex trauma means that people have experienced multiple traumas. This can happen in many different contexts: Sexual abuse, domestic abuse, stalking, victims of war, trafficking, torture, exploitation, medical procedures, or a combination of any of these things. Clients who have experienced trauma may struggle with flashbacks, nightmares, avoidance, hyper- and hypo-arousal, and negative cognitions about themselves, others and the world. But clients who have experienced complex trauma may also struggle with pervasive guilt, shame, impact on their nervous system and body and loss of sense of identity.
