Join our 60-hour integrative and experiential Foundation Diploma "Therapeutic Safety in Trauma", which works to build a solid foundation for any professional who works (or wants to work) with traumatised clients. This training is based on the 3-Phase Trauma Model and Polyvagal Theory. The 3-Phase Trauma Model (Janet, Herman) explains that before we might process a traumatic memory or feeling, we have to establish some safety first by managing the trauma-symptoms, building a therapeutic relationship and regulating the nervous system. After processing the memory (which is optional and depends on the client's wants and needs), the memory might be integrated into a wider sense of self, as well as a perception of the future.
