This experiential day focuses on hyper-arousal, hypo-arousal and dissociation in more depth. You will be able to practice with safety techniques to help manage or reduce trauma-symptoms. £150 for professionals (£135 for NCPS members), £99 for counselling students Level 2-4

Training - Relational Safety in Trauma
As mental health and clinical professionals we may be aware of some of the theory related to safe trauma therapy (such as the 3-phase trauma model or polyvagal theory), but it doesn't necessarily give us the tools to actually increase safety in the therapeutic room with clients. This training day aims to do just that.
We will cover a host of safety techniques, including:
* Using an anchor
* Window of tolerance
* Tapping
