About the event
Training - Somatic Techniques after Trauma (2)
This training day builds on the former training day (Somatic Techniques after Trauma - part 1, which took place in October), we will develop further somatic skills, including the triad of mindfulness and the use of body movements and experiments to increase safety, regulation, and body awareness following trauma. This training day is practical in nature, which means there will be space for demonstrations and skills practice around the skills that we cover.
Practicalities
This training day can be taken as a one-off CPD, or as the seventh day of the Advanced Diploma in Complex Trauma. You will learn more about somatic ways of working, and will have the opportunity to practice with somatic skills including tracking, verbalising body sensations, somatic resourcing, and working with posture. 1-day CPD: £150 (£135 for NCPS Registered Members)
