There are many different theories about how best to process a trauma, but where do we even start? There are core principles that can be utilised in safe trauma therapy. One of them is to not overload the client with much different, as this will flood their system. Instead, we can pace it out, make it more manageable and bearable for them. During this training day you will have a chance to practice with processing based on five core organisers (cognitions, emotions, 5 senses, body sensations, movements, utilising skills of pendulation, titration, and body movements. This is a practical hands-on training, where we will cover the theory, as well as have some space for demonstrations and skills practice.
